Most know the old Chinese proverb, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime". We like to apply this principle at Joshua, and currently have various ways of "teaching people how to fish".

Skills training includes carpentry, mechanics, driving, leadership principles, management and more.

Following our “training” approach, Joshua works to provide locals with skills and employment opportunities, and thus, empowers them to be able to provide for themselves and their families.
