En Gedi Preschool opened in May 2007. One of our very first Joshua Teachers Training College (JTTC) graduates, Celina, joined our staff to be the teacher of this school.

Our students include Talia Carstensen, one of our Joshua team kids, and 9 of our En Gedi staff kids. From initial tears, fears and general disarray the little student body is now a happy thriving learning community!

Teachers are coming from village preschools to be mentored here. En Gedi Preschool provides us with a great opportunity to pilot our ideas for the model school we hope to open in the near future.
